Jen dazzles me every Sunday at Glide, especially when she solos. -John Cole
I remember being at a gospel gig with Jen and she began to sing a little piece of an aria she knew for an audience member totally impromptu. I was on the other side of the room when I heard her her voice wafting through the air and oh how she captivated everyone's listening. Everyone just wanted to hear more of her beautiful voice.
She's a wonderful singer and multi-instrumentalist who sings deeply from her soul and translates that into the love she feels for people. She gives everything she's got with great love and passion!

Jen Allen-Zito is the most versatile & talented singer I've ever heard! I'll never forget her passionate powerful solo with the Kulshan Chorus a couple decades ago: she blew the audience away!! And then soloed in a foreign language with vocals & body movements that told the story beautifully - no English needed. I was bursting with pride simply because I've known her since she was a child and now she has become a humble yet extremely talented star and wonderful human being! - Gwen Hunter - Musician and Activist
I'd like to applaud the work Jen Allen-Zito did for the Glorietta School production of Lion King......pretty much covers all the categories, from the hours spent on creating an orchestra part from scratch and performing on various instruments within that orchestra to how lovely it was to get to know and work with her on that project! -Nancy Gill, Music Director
"To speak of Jen Allen-Zito is to speak of Light, of courage, of kindness, of action, of flight toward, not away from, and flight of fancy and fun and hope. She is an artist, a woman standing tall, and voicing words beautifully, and rending forth music, be it melody or percussion, or the next promised note, as naturally and happily as would natures best. There is no guile to be seen in Jen nor pretense nor posturing. She is Jen Allen-Zito, and to have her as a friend is a treasure that does not end. She is the power of a loving presenter and that power lives for others, and comes from her heart. If you can, see Jen perform. Give yourself a gift!" - David Neevel, Teacher
Jen Allen Zito is one of the finest people and singers I've ever had the chance to work with. Frankly, I've not had anywhere near enough of the pleasure of working with her. The beautiful qualities of her singing, musicianship, and stage presence, are wonderfully and fully matched by the sheer joy of working with her.

Over two decades ago, from an evening in mid-August during a summer session at an arts-friendly, intentional community high above in the Cascade Mtns., until this very moment, due to the unexpected, very lovely gift of hearing Jen Allen Zito sing, the deepest reaches of my soul have never been the same. Though before that evening featuring Jen's solo ACapella selections I had not met her, I certainly wish I had. Her clear, soul-stirring singing was nothing short of angelic; deserving of the highest praise. That night my tired, depleted soul was so hungry for the kind of soul-enriching music pouring out of Jen that, upon my soaking up every note coming from her, I wept. It's often believed coming into the conditions of good timing & chemistry can make one's life magical. Hearing Jen when I did arrived on the heels of my finishing a hospital chaplaincy ministry where I had watched a hundred or more souls pass into the next realm. Excellent timing. Jen's chosen selection which so fed & healed me was a spiritual, Bulgarian dirge. The deep sadness infused into this death-honoring song produced a low, but uplifting vibration in my grief-scarred chest. Such an experience was, for me, excellent chemistry.
Jen Allen Zito's music has so clung to my needy soul, every day I continue to feel her notes, now always sweet, within me. Her voice is more of a tangible, spiritually healing salve than anything I know. Nearly every day, deep inside, I yet feel the calming vibrations from listening within to her voice.
